La Jaima — south part of Los Lances, behind Balneario. Beautiful soft-sand beach. Poniente only — by Levante, dangerously gusty due to nearby buildings/town. Kite forbidden 15 June-15 September. Rest of year: great flat Poniente sessions. Equinox months (March/September) = "La Charca" lagoon forms = exceptional flat water! Beginner (Poniente, off-season).
The spot works mainly during Poniente with ideal side-onshore conditions for freeriding.
During north wind with swell, excellent for surfkite.
During Levante, wind becomes very irregular and gusty due to Tarifa buildings disrupting airflow - dangerous conditions except for experts.
Atlantic. Fine sand beach with no stones, sandy bottom as well.
During Poniente: Chop and small waves, good for freeriding.
During North wind with swell: Perfect conditions for surfkite.
Water: 17-20°C. Shorty in summer, 4/3 to 5/4 in winter.

Parking directly accessible from Tarifa, less than 2 km from the port.
On-site services: 1 beach bar, private showers, air compressor for inflating kites.
⛔ Kitesurfing prohibited June 15 to September 15 - Beach reserved for swimmers during summer.
⚠️ During Levante: Dangerous gusts due to nearby buildings. Same conditions as Balneario and Playa Chica. For experienced kiters only.
No major dangers during Poniente or north wind.
Medium difficulty during south wind (hard to go upwind).
Poniente (west, ~40% of days): Side-onshore, chop and small waves <1m, constant wind. With medium swell: waves 1.5-2m. Storm conditions (rare): 3-4m.
South (~5%): Onshore, lots of chop, medium to difficult conditions - hard to go upwind.
North (~5%): Side-shore, slightly choppy sea. With medium or strong swell: perfect conditions for surfkite. Constant wind with some gusts.
⚠️ Levante not recommended: Like Balneario and Playa Chica, Levante becomes dangerously gusty at La Jaima due to nearby buildings in Tarifa. For experts only.
