Murrell Park East is a kitesurf spot on the northwest shore of Grapevine Lake. The park, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, offers good lake access with parking, boat ramp, and picnic areas. It's one of the northernmost accesses on the lake, offering good fetch to the south. The park is well maintained and popular for water activities.
Fresh water of Grapevine Lake. Variable bottom. Flat to choppy water. No tide. Warm water in summer. Good south fetch for the dominant SE/S wind. Medium-sized lake.
