Willoughby Spit is a kitesurfing spot on a natural sand spit extending into the Chesapeake Bay, in Norfolk. This unique geographical formation offers bay access from both sides of the sand spit, allowing riding regardless of wind direction. The north side faces the bay with good fetch, while the south side is more protected in Hampton Roads. It's one of the most versatile spots in the area thanks to this dual exposure.
