Wildcat Park is a kitesurf spot on the north shore of Corpus Christi Bay, in the city of Portland. The park offers direct access to the bay waters with a grassy and sandy launch area. The bay provides an expansive body of water with good fetch for SE winds. Portland is across the bay from Corpus Christi, offering a quieter, more residential setting.
Corpus Christi Bay waters, moderately deep. Sandy to muddy bottom. Choppy water in sustained wind due to bay fetch. Warm water. Low amplitude tide. Good conditions for freeride and wingfoil.
