State Park / Mustang Island is a kitesurf spot in Mustang Island State Park, a state park offering 5 miles of preserved beach on the Gulf of Mexico. The park offers excellent facilities: camping, showers, restrooms, and parking. The wide, uncrowded beach is ideal for kiting with plenty of launch space. The SE wind is reliable in season. Park entrance fee required but worth it for the setting and amenities.
