Access Road No 2 is a kitesurf spot on the Gulf side beach of Mustang Island. Located between Fish Pass and the Access Roads further north, this spot offers access to a long sand beach facing the Gulf of Mexico. The area is less crowded than spots near Port Aransas, offering more space for kiting. Good SE side-onshore wind conditions from March to September.
Gulf oceanic conditions. Progressive sandy bottom. Moderate waves. Warm water. Typical chop and small waves. Moderate longshore currents. Good spot for wave riding and ocean freeride.
