Carkeek Park is a kitesurfing spot in north Seattle, on the shores of Puget Sound. This public park offers a west-facing beach with access to the Sound waters. The spot works primarily with south to southwest winds. The park is crossed by an active railroad separating the parking from the beach via a pedestrian bridge. Wooded urban setting with views of the Olympic Mountains.
Open all year round
