Cold Pacific Ocean — hypothermia risk. Sneaker waves can surprise on the beach. Frequent rip currents. Very strong tidal currents at Grays Harbor entrance — life-threatening danger. Driftwood and debris on the beach. Coastal fog can reduce visibility quickly. Vehicles allowed on the beach — watch out when rigging.
