Walvis Bay Lagoon is the most famous kitesurfing spot in Namibia. This immense lagoon offers an exceptional flat water body, ideal for beginners, progression, and speed records. The south/southwest winds are among the most consistent in the world thanks to the thermal effect of the cold Benguela Current. The water is cold (around 14 degrees C). The shallow lagoon and flat water make it an accessible spot from beginner level.
