Flying Point is a kitesurf spot located on Mecox Bay, on the south side of the lagoon, on the south fork of Long Island. This protected body of water offers excellent flat water conditions. The proximity of Flying Point Beach (ocean side) allows choosing between bay or ocean sessions depending on conditions.
Flat body of water in the Mecox Bay lagoon. Shallow water with sandy bottom. Calm conditions protected from ocean surf by the land strip. Light tidal currents.
