The Lighthouse is a soundside spot in Buxton, near the famous Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, the tallest brick lighthouse in the United States (210ft). The spot offers Pamlico Sound access with views of this historic landmark. The lighthouse was moved 2,900ft inland in 1999 to protect it from coastal erosion.
