Askins Creek is a soundside spot between Avon and Buxton, on Hatteras Island. The spot gets its name from the small creek that flows into Pamlico Sound at this location. The area offers a mix of flat sound water and light creek current. Less crowded than Canadian Hole and Kite Point, it is a good spot for those seeking more space.
