Great Bay is a kitesurfing spot located in the Karas region of southern Namibia, in the Luderitz area. This large bay on the Atlantic Ocean offers extreme wind conditions with gusts among the strongest in the world. The south/southwest winds are amplified by the local Venturi effect and the Benguela Current. The water is very cold (around 14 degrees C). Spot reserved for advanced to expert riders.
