Sand Lake is a coastal estuary located near Pacific City on Oregon's north coast. This protected body of water offers calmer conditions than the open ocean, with shallow waters and a sandy bottom ideal for learning and progression. The estuary is surrounded by spectacular sand dunes (Sand Lake Recreation Area) and coastal forests. Northwest thermal winds channeled through the valley provide regular sessions in summer.
