Northwest winds are powerful in summer and Pacific waves are consistent. The spot is suited for advanced riders due to isolation, rocks, and demanding conditions.
Exposed ocean spot with waves of 1 to 3m. Water is cold (10-14°C/50-57°F), a 4/3 or 5/3 wetsuit is essential. Sandy bottom with rocks and sea stacks. Powerful shore break. Drift currents along the coast. Rock formations create zones of currents and turbulence.
