Amagansett Beach is a kitesurf spot located on the south coast of Long Island's south fork, east of East Hampton. This ocean beach offers great Atlantic exposure with good wave conditions. More laid-back atmosphere than neighboring Hamptons beaches.

Ocean conditions with Atlantic waves and swell. Good surf kite conditions on south swells. Longshore currents and rip currents present. The water offers nicely formed waves.
Rip currents and longshore currents. Shore break can be powerful. Swimmers in summer. Check local regulations regarding kitesurfing. Cold water from fall through spring.
