Pass Christian East Beach is a kitesurf spot on the picturesque coast of Pass Christian, along the Scenic Drive on the Mississippi Sound. The white sand beach offers generous launch space facing the shallow Sound waters. Pass Christian is a historic small town with Southern charm, featuring centuries-old oak trees along the waterfront. Conditions are ideal for intermediate riders thanks to the body of water protected by barrier islands.

Shallow Mississippi Sound water with sandy bottom. Flat to slightly choppy conditions, rarely real waves thanks to the protection of Cat Island and Ship Island. Very warm water in summer (28-30°C), rideable year-round with wetsuit in winter. Good body of water for freestyle and progression.
Jellyfish in warm season, sometimes in large numbers. Tropical thunderstorms in summer with frequent lightning — leave the water immediately when a storm approaches. Bottom potentially scattered with debris. Weak but present currents. Watch for traffic on the coastal road during setup/breakdown.
