Sheltered Cove is a protected spot located on Barnegat Bay, on the west side of the barrier peninsula. As its name suggests, this cove offers very sheltered and flat waters, perfect for beginners. The shallow bay waters allow safe sailing. An excellent learning spot.

Muddy bottom in some areas. Very shallow areas at low tide. Possible aquatic grass. Recreational boat traffic in the bay in summer.
