Overview

Rio Maria is a kitesurfing spot located in Sofala province, in central Mozambique. This coastal spot faces east onto the Indian Ocean. Sofala province offers wind conditions thanks to the southeast trade winds from May to October. The water is oceanic with tides. The spot is located in an undeveloped and uncrowded area. Suited to intermediate riders.
