Long Beach is a kitesurf spot located on the barrier beach of Long Island's south shore, with direct Atlantic Ocean exposure. This long sandy beach offers excellent conditions for kiting and surf kiting. The iconic boardwalk runs along the beach, providing a unique beachside urban setting.
Ocean conditions with Atlantic waves and swell. Good surf kite conditions possible on south or southeast swells. Longshore currents and rip currents present. Water state varies from choppy to well-formed waves.
