Lido Beach is a kitesurf spot located on the barrier beach of Long Island's south shore, ocean side. This beach offers direct Atlantic exposure with good wind and wave conditions. The wide sandy strip allows comfortable kite launching.
Atlantic ocean conditions. Waves and swell present, with surf kite conditions possible on south swells. Longshore currents and rip currents possible. Water state varies from choppy to formed waves depending on conditions.
