Henderson Point is a kitesurf spot located on the peninsula between Bay St. Louis and the Mississippi Sound, near Pass Christian. The shallow Sound waters and the protection from offshore barrier islands create accessible conditions. The spot enjoys a quiet residential setting with direct water access.

Shallow Mississippi Sound water with sandy and muddy bottom in places. Generally flat water, slightly choppy in sustained wind. The peninsula position offers varied conditions depending on the side chosen. Warm water in summer (28-30°C). The adjacent Bay St. Louis can provide very flat conditions.
Muddy bottom in places that can trap feet. Jellyfish frequent in summer. Violent thunderstorms possible with little warning, watch the sky constantly. Tidal currents at the entrance to Bay St. Louis. Submerged debris possible, especially after storms.
