Crescent Beach State Park is a state park in Cape Elizabeth, south of Portland. This beautiful crescent-shaped east-facing beach offers excellent Atlantic swell exposure. The park provides well-maintained facilities and a remarkable natural setting with rocky headlands framing the beach.
Ocean conditions with Atlantic swell and waves. Sandy bottom in the center, rocky at the ends. Cold water year-round — full wetsuit essential (5/4mm in winter, 4/3mm in summer). Significant tide affecting beach width.
