Praia da Rocha is one of the most famous beaches in the Algarve, near Portimão. Dramatic sandstone cliffs, wide sandy beach. Works mainly in winter with S-SW swells and wind. In summer the Nortada NW is offshore. Popular tourist beach — very crowded in summer. Winter kite can be excellent with powerful waves. Intermediate.
