Huisduinen (Den Helder) is a North Sea kitespot at the very tip of Noord-Holland, between two jetties. The pier provides some protection, offering flat to choppy water in moderate conditions and small waves with stronger winds. Best with winds from N, NW or W.

GPS: Huisduinen beach, Den Helder, Noord-Holland. Access via N9/N250 to Den Helder, then Huisduinen direction. Parking near beach. For Razende Bol crossing: expert riders, local knowledge essential, go with group. Year-round. Den Helder town: full facilities.
North Sea + Marsdiep channel — choppy to waves. Strong tidal currents. Cold year-round: 5/4mm winter, 3/2mm summer minimum. Advanced level. Razende Bol crossing: expert currents crossing. Salt water. No standing area (deep from shore).
