Renesse West is a North Sea beach spot on the western coast of Schouwen-Duiveland, near the popular resort town of Renesse. The beach is wide and well exposed to westerly and northerly winds, with typical Dutch North Sea wave conditions.
This spot is only usable in the off-season (October to April). In summer it is completely closed to kitesurfers due to large numbers of beach tourists. The best winds come with autumn and winter depressions, with regular SW and NW wind fronts passing through. Renesse has a lively nightlife scene — popular base for a kitesurfing weekend.

⚠️ Seasonal restrictions: kitesurfing on the North Sea beach at Renesse West is permitted only from October to April (off-season). Fines possible even in winter — check local regulations before each session.
⚠️ Summer: in the tourist season the beach is closed for kitesurfing. The Brouwersdam or Neeltje Jans are the alternatives.
