Kijkduin is a North Sea kitespot near The Hague with a wide sandy beach. The kite zone is between breakwater 42 and the De Naald monument, near the lighthouse. At high tide, shallow water extends along the beach for the first few meters — creating a brief flatwater window. Best with winds from SW to NW.
Several kite schools operate here: KiteBOARDschool and Kitesurfspot.nl. Lessons available daily (9:00, 13:30, 17:30). More info: NKV Spotkaart

Paid parking at Kijkduin beach. Access from Den Haag via N211. Tram 17 from Den Haag Centraal to Kijkduin end stop. GPS: Kijkduin beach, Den Haag.
SW/W/NW/N/NE all work onshore. Conditions similar to Scheveningen but more sheltered near the Zandmotor. Slightly more protected from strong winds — better for beginners in gusts. Year-round potential. Best spring/autumn.
Submerged breakwaters along the beach — dangerous at high tide. Strong currents. At high tide the beach transforms into shallow water for the first few meters. Not suitable for beginners. Check local signs and zone markers before rigging.
