Water gets deep quickly with strong currents and waves — not suitable for beginners. Coloured safety vest required within club zones (provided by the clubs). From October through March, kitesurfing outside the club zones is permitted. In summer, strictly stay within your club zone.
SW/W/NW/N/NE onshore. Wind typically 15–25 knots in good season. Year-round accessible. Best months: March–May and September–November. Conditions similar to Scheveningen but slightly less crowded.
