Castricum aan Zee is a North Sea kitesurf spot south of Bergen aan Zee and north of IJmuiderslag. Wide sandy beach, consistent SW/W/NW wind. Two NKV kite zones. ⚠️ Known hazard: shipwreck in the north kite zone — check its position before launching. Year-round accessible. Intermediate level.

Quiet seaside village with good amenities. Less crowded than Wijk aan Zee. Between Bergen aan Zee (8km north) and IJmuiderslag (8km south) — good central position for Noord-Holland coast sessions.
