Overview

Marina di Ravenna is the maritime gateway to Ravenna, former capital of the Western Roman Empire. The spot is located on the sandy beach north of the port, in a wilder area than the Romagna Riviera to the south.

The coast faces east. Bora (NE), Levante (E) and Scirocco (SE) winds work well. The proximity of the Po Delta offers a more natural environment with pine forests and wetlands.
