Overview

Francavilla al Mare is a seaside resort just south of Pescara, on the Abruzzo coast. The long sandy beach offers good conditions for kitesurfing with views of the snow-capped Maiella in winter. Same wind conditions as Pescara: Bora (NE), Levante (E), Scirocco (SE). Slightly quieter atmosphere than Pescara.
