Laayoune Plage is the kitesurfing spot of the city of Laayoune, on the Atlantic coast of Western Sahara. The spot faces west and receives the northeast trade winds that blow regularly, especially during the warm season. The water is oceanic with significant tides and sometimes strong Atlantic swell.
