Santa Margherita di Pula is a kitesurf spot on the south coast of Sardinia, in the prestigious resort area of the same name south of Pula. The long beach is sheltered from northerly winds but well exposed to winds from east through southwest. The Scirocco and Libeccio are the main riding winds here. The area is luxurious and well-served, with high-end hotels and resorts lining the coast. A convenient spot for riders staying in the Santa Margherita resort complex.
Open all year round
Intermediate
Parking within the Santa Margherita resort complex, accessible from the SS195 coastal road. Upscale tourist infrastructure — restaurants, hotels and beach services available. Busy in summer season.
Boat traffic near the upscale resort marinas — stay clear of the channels. Scirocco can bring swell from the south. Rocky sections at both ends of the beaches. Respect swimming zones in the resort areas during summer.
