Overview

Forte dei Marmi is the most upscale seaside resort in Tuscany, in Versilia. The spot is on the long sandy beach, with the spectacular Apuan Alps as a backdrop. Exposed to westerly winds (Ponente) and southwest winds (Libeccio). The Maestrale (NW) can be strengthened by channelling between the Apuan Alps and the sea.
