Fiumaretta is one of the most renowned kitesurfing spots in Liguria, located at the mouth of the Magra River, on the border between Liguria and Tuscany. The sandy beach faces the Gulf of La Spezia, with a magnificent view of Portovenere and the Cinque Terre. The spot benefits from an excellent southwest thermal wind (Libeccio/sea thermal) that blows regularly in the afternoon during summer. The body of water at the Magra mouth offers a flat protected zone, ideal for freestyle and learning, while the open sea allows for more committed sessions. It is the reference spot for the La Spezia area, attracting riders from all of eastern Liguria and neighbouring Tuscany.
