Sottomarina Diga is a spot located in Sottomarina di Chioggia, at the southern end of the Venice lagoon. The spot is near the breakwater (diga) that protects the entrance to the port of Chioggia, offering interesting conditions for kitesurfing on the Adriatic coast. The coast faces east/southeast. Bora (NE) and Scirocco (SE) winds are the most frequent. The proximity of the breakwater creates interesting sheltered zones. The spot is popular with locals from the Venetian area.
