Overview

Agropoli is a coastal town in northern Cilento, dominated by its medieval castle. The spot is on the beach south of the town, facing the Gulf of Salerno and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Westerly winds (Ponente, Maestrale, Libeccio) work well on this west/northwest-facing coast. Agropoli is the gateway to the Cilento and offers a good balance between urban amenities and natural setting.
