Grado Pineta is a spot located in the pine grove area of Grado, a seaside resort in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Grado, nicknamed "the island of the sun", is a lagoon island between the Grado lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. The spot catches the Bora (NE), the iconic wind of Friuli, which blows powerfully from the Balkans. The Scirocco (SE) is side-onshore. The lagoon also offers flat water sailing possibilities.
