Spanish Point is a kitesurfing spot located in County Clare, on the west coast of Ireland. This beach is exposed to the full power of the Atlantic with prevailing southwest and west winds. Conditions are often challenging with swell and waves. The spot is suitable for advanced riders. The name comes from the Spanish Armada, several ships of which were wrecked here in 1588. Spectacular coastal setting.
