Waimanalo is a kitesurfing spot located on the windward coast of Oahu, directly exposed to the northeast trade winds. This long white sand beach offers constant and reliable wind conditions, among the best on Oahu. The water area is protected by an outer reef that reduces the swell, creating moderate chop conditions ideal for freeriding. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders, with a sandy bottom and easy launching.
