Metro Beach Park / Lake St. Clair is a kitesurf spot located at Metro Beach Metropark, on the western shore of Lake St. Clair, in Macomb County, Michigan. This large metropolitan park in the Detroit area offers easy access to Lake St. Clair's vast water body. The shallow lake warms quickly in summer and offers accessible flat water conditions. One of the most popular spots for kitesurfers in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Water warms quickly in summer, allowing riding in a shorty from June to September. Sandy and muddy bottom. Vast water body offering plenty of space despite shallow depth. Flat water conditions ideal for freeride.
Very shallow lake — risk of hitting bottom during falls. Very heavy boat traffic in summer — Lake St. Clair is one of Michigan's busiest. Commercial shipping channel — never cross it. Violent thunderstorms possible with lightning risk. Water can be turbid. Metropolitan park — respect regulations and pay entry fee.
