Cheney Reservoir is a 3,900-hectare lake serving as Wichita's drinking water supply. M.M. Point offers excellent southern wind exposure and is one of the best kitesurf spots in south-central Kansas. Large body of water with remarkable fetch.
Large freshwater reservoir with excellent fetch. Sandy beaches. Can produce significant waves in strong winds. Water level fluctuates seasonally and with rainfall.
