Barra del Ostion is a spot located on the coast of Tamaulipas, on the Gulf of Mexico. The north winds (Nortes) blow strongly during the winter season, offering dynamic sailing conditions. The sand bar at the river mouth creates varied conditions between a protected lagoon and open ocean with waves.
