Long Beach is a kitesurf spot located in Nahant, on the north shore of Massachusetts. This long sandy beach connects the Nahant peninsula to the mainland and faces east/northeast toward Massachusetts Bay. Very popular spot in the Boston area with good access and reliable conditions.

Massachusetts Bay conditions with waves possible on NE or east swell. Longshore currents present along the beach. The south side of the beach can offer more protected conditions. Good fetch to the east.
Longshore currents and rip currents. Rocks at both ends of the beach. Very crowded spot – watch out for other kitesurfers and swimmers. Cold water year-round – thick wetsuit required.
