Skyway Bridge Northwest is a spot located on the northwest side of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, the iconic bridge crossing the mouth of Tampa Bay. The spot offers 360° exposure in the open bay waters. Reserved for advanced riders due to strong currents, heavy boat traffic and proximity to bridge structures.

Open waters at the mouth of Tampa Bay with significant tidal currents. Sandy and variable bottom. Significant chop with sustained wind. Currents intensify during tide changes. Variable depth with very deep areas in the navigation channel.
