Skyway Bridge Northwest is a spot located on the northwest side of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, the iconic bridge crossing the mouth of Tampa Bay. The spot offers 360° exposure in the open bay waters. Reserved for advanced riders due to strong currents, heavy boat traffic and proximity to bridge structures.

Very strong tidal currents — spot reserved for advanced riders. Heavy commercial and cruise ship traffic. Skyway Bridge pylons and structures. Frequent sharks at the bay mouth. Fishing area with lines and hooks. No easy-access rescue beach.
