Ormond-By-The-Sea is a beach community on the Atlantic coast, north of Daytona Beach. The east-facing beach offers typical northeast Florida coast kitesurfing conditions. Quiet residential area, away from the Daytona Beach bustle to the south. The spot offers less crowded beach access with more space for launching.
Atlantic waters with moderate waves. Sandy bottom with possible coquina formations. Longshore drift current. Good northeast swell in winter. Cooler water than south Florida in winter.
