Overview

Ocean Trace is a beach access on the Atlantic coast south of St. Augustine, on Anastasia Island. The east-facing beach offers conditions typical of northeast Florida's coast with compact sand and Atlantic waves. Local spot used by kitesurfers in the St. Augustine area as an alternative to busier beaches.

Atlantic waters with moderate waves. Sandy bottom with possible coquina formations. Longshore drift current. Northeast swell in winter. Cool water from December to March. Similar conditions to other St. Augustine beaches.
