Huguenot Memorial Park is a public park located on a peninsula at the northern tip of Fort George Island, at the mouth of the St. Johns River. The park offers east-facing Atlantic beaches and calmer waters on the river side to the north. It is one of the most popular kitesurfing spots in the Jacksonville area, with the ability to drive on the beach (4WD recommended). The St. Johns River mouth to the north creates dynamic conditions.
