Lighthouse Point is a kitesurfing spot located at the eastern tip of Sanibel Island, near the historic Sanibel Lighthouse. This point offers water on multiple sides — San Carlos Bay to the north/east and the Gulf of Mexico to the south/west. Most wind directions work thanks to this multiple exposure. The Sanibel Lighthouse (1884) is an iconic landmark. The spot combines bay access (flat) and gulf access (waves) depending on wind direction. Sanibel is an island renowned for its preserved nature and seashells.
