Waimahaihai is a kitesurfing spot located on the south coast of Maui, in the Kihei area. The spot benefits from the trade winds channeled through Maui's central valley, which blow steadily in the afternoons. The water offers a mix of flat and small waves, suited to intermediate riders. The bottom is mainly sandy with some reef sections. It is a good spot for freestyle and freeride sessions.
